🔔Neutron to Shift to Long-Term Maintenance Mode, Multiple Products to be Gradually Shut Down According to Mars Finance, Cosmos cross-chain smart contract platform Neutron tweeted that its network will shift to a long-term maintenance mode, prioritizing the security of user, builder, and stakeholder assets. Key changes include: Supervaults will prohibit new deposits starting March 16th; DEX and Supervaults will be completely suspended by April 17th at the latest (only withdrawals will remain until June 30th); dNTRN holders can exchange for NTRN through the Drop website or Neutron app starting March 23rd; wstETH holders must cross-chain back to Ethereum before June 30th; the NTRN redemption mechanism will be announced later, and remaining assets after the foundation's liquidation will be returned to the DAO proportionally. The governance, staking, and validator systems will abandon the Neutron custom model and switch to the standard Cosmos model; token inflation will be dynamically adjusted, and the foundation and DAO plan to burn a large amount of NTRN to compress the supply; Hadron Labs will maintain the network until June 30, after which it will transition to a low-maintenance community support model; Fireblocks support will end at the end of April. Yesterday at OKEx's F1 event, I met with @Super4DeFi. We briefly discussed current savings strategies. The core principle for judging whether a deal is worth saving is: whether the other party has the ability to repay. There are still some good yield opportunities in a bear market, but the repayment ability of both public chains and protocols is too poor. The only financial products that allow for large positions are: Morpho, Aave, and major exchanges. For small funds of a few hundred thousand USDT, the deals that seem good for investing in TGE before TVL include: Bitway, Katana (Kat has recently surged, making financial products attractive again), Pharros will soon launch a savings vault, which from what I understand mainly uses off-chain MMF and on-chain WSTETH and CBBTC collateral, etc., so I might consider investing in it then. @Super4DeFi's ReUSD and ReUSDE seem pretty good to me, but the overall annualized returns are only 8% and 13% respectively, which might not seem as appealing.

🔔Chaos Labs: Aave's $27 Million Liquidation Event Caused by CAPO Risk Oracle Configuration Issue According to an analysis report released by Chaos Labs, the recent $27 million liquidation event on Aave was caused by a configuration issue with the CAPO risk oracle. The root cause lies in inconsistent update constraints at the smart contract level: the `snapshotRatio` parameter, limited by an on-chain constraint of only 3% growth every 3 days, could not be directly updated from approximately 1.1572 to the target value of approximately 1.2282, but could only increase to approximately 1.1919; while `snapshotTimestamp` successfully updated to a timestamp from 7 days ago. This misalignment between the ratio and the timestamp caused the CAPO-calculated exchange rate ceiling (approximately 1.1939) to be about 2.85% lower than the actual market exchange rate, triggering the liquidation of approximately 10,938 wstETH. No bad debts were incurred in the event. Chaos Labs and BGD Labs immediately reduced the wstETH borrowing cap for affected instances to 1 and restored the exchange rate by manually aligning parameters via Risk Steward. 141.5 ETH has been recovered through BuilderNet and will be used to compensate affected users; the remainder will be covered by the Aave treasury. The amount requiring temporary compensation from the DAO is expected to not exceed 345 ETH.

Lido tweeted that a potential vulnerability exists in the ZKsync wstETH bridge endpoint contract. There is currently no indication that the vulnerability has been exploited, and wstETH holders on ZKsync are unaffected, as are other bridge contracts. Out of caution, new deposits to the ZKsync bridge have been suspended. Withdrawals and token transfers on ZKsync are unaffected. The fix is complete and will be audited and deployed at the next scheduled on-chain Lido governance vote (late March to early April), after which deposits will resume.

The core of the product lies in trust during periods of volatility. Expanding the operator community and reducing concentration are key to protecting stETH's long-term resilience. My focus: • stETH's anchor price and depth during significant declines • stETH's market share on Aave and other currency markets • LST's market share changes relative to competitors • Any specific steps taken to make LDO's value realization clearer ----- Lido has already won the allocation of ETH staking.
