According to a separate report by Iran's Press TV on the same day, Abolfazl Shekarchi, a senior spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces, said on Friday that...Iran will continue this war until the US and Israeli regimes “regret” their illegal acts of aggression.
This comes on the 35th day since the US-Israel military attack, which has triggered a strong retaliatory strike from Iran.
“Our strategy is not limited to an eye for an eye or reciprocal action. Our strategy is to punish the aggressor, make them thoroughly regret their actions, and ensure the permanent elimination of the threat posed to our nation,” he said.
"Our goal is not to announce a ceasefire today, only to see aggression return under various pretexts tomorrow, leaving the people in constant fear and anxiety," he added.
Shekarci also pointed out that the world has recognized the invincibility of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which stems from its powerful capabilities.
He added,Many countries around the world condemn the war imposed on Iran, while many of Washington’s allies are reluctant to get involved because they have seen the disasters caused by the U.S. presence in the region.
The US-Israeli aggression against Iran began with an airstrike on February 28, which assassinated several senior Iranian officials and commanders.
In response, Iranian armed forces launch daily missile and drone strikes against Israeli-occupied territories and U.S. military bases and assets throughout the region.
They also blocked the Strait of Hormuz, prohibiting oil and gas tankers associated with the enemy and their collaborators from passing through in an attempt to secure this strategic waterway.
The United States attempted to form an alliance to reopen the Straits, demanding that NATO countries provide naval and air force assets. However, most of Washington's allies refused to send troops.
The military spokesperson emphasized thatThe strait connecting the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman will remain closed to the United States and Zionists.
"The United States will absolutely not be able to access the Strait of Hormuz. What does this strait have to do with them? Our strategy is..."The United States should withdraw from West Asia."We will leave it to the countries in the region. This process is gradually being realized," he said.
Shekhar emphasized that the countries in the region are currently divided into two categories: those that are unwilling to follow the United States and regret allowing the US military to establish bases on their territory, and a smaller number of those that still follow the United States or even encourage it.
Regarding US President Trump's remarks about a possible ground invasion of Iran and his desperate attempt to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Shekhar said,The Iranian armed forces are prepared to respond decisively and deterrently to any strategic miscalculation by the enemy.
He also claimed that Trump had disgraced the United States and its military, asserting, "Today, the U.S. military has no will to fight. What kind of military is it that flees its bases and hides in business centers and hotels to avoid attacks from Iranian armed forces?"
He also called the US president the weakest and most disgraceful in history, saying he was a liar and his statements were completely unreliable.
According to a separate report by Press TV on the same day, a spokesperson for Iran's Hatem Anbia Central Command stated that...Any attack on Iranian bridges, power plants, or energy infrastructure would trigger strikes against all U.S. and Israeli assets in the region and occupied territories, including critical assets of U.S. allies and host countries.—This will be more intense and destructive than ever before. The spokesperson stated,If countries want to maintain security, they must force the withdrawal of US troops.
