WASHINGTON, April 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday again demanded that Iran open the Strait of Hormuz and threatened that if it did not, Iran would "live in hell."
Trump posted on social media, "April 7th will be Iran's Power Plant Day and Bridge Day," hinting at a fierce bombing of Iranian power plants and bridges. He also said, "Open that damn strait, or you'll live in hell—just you wait!"
On April 4, Trump posted on social media demanding that Iran "reach an agreement" or "open the Strait of Hormuz" by April 6, threatening that "time is running out—only 48 hours left before all the disaster befalls them." Abdullahhi, commander of the Khatham Anbia Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, responded that same day, emphasizing that the Iranian military would firmly defend national rights, protect national assets, and make the aggressors pay the price.
