Bitpanda is doubling its standard TAO staking reward for a limited window, offering users 13% APY on Bittensor (TAO) – twice the usual rate – through a promotion running from April 28 to May 12, 2026.
The offer is open to Bitpanda clients and requires no complicated setup beyond staking TAO on the platform during the promotional period.
While the platform’s standard TAO staking rate sits at 6.5% APY, for 14 days, that doubles to 13%.
For TAO holders already sitting on idle positions, this is a great yield window. For anyone looking to open a TAO position, the timing gives a practical incentive to act now rather than later.
How to Take Part in TAO Staking
Getting started takes only a few steps. Head to Bitpanda via this link, create and fully verify your account if you haven’t already, deposit or purchase TAO, and stake it through the platform’s earn section before May 12 at 23:59 CEST.
Eligibility requires that participants be fully verified, registered Bitpanda clients who are not residents in a restricted country or territory. The platform operates under Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, so having a valid ID ready will speed up onboarding.
The 13% APY applies only during the promotional window, which runs through May 12, 2026. After that date, the standard rate applies. As with any staking product, rewards are not guaranteed, and the value of staked assets can fluctuate.
About Bittensor (TAO)
The ultimate vision of Bittensor is to create a market for artificial intelligence, allowing producers and consumers to interact in a trustless, open, and transparent context, promoting open access, decentralized governance, and global access to computing power.
TAO is the network’s native token used for payments and governance, and is earned by AI models that compete across the network’s subnets to produce the most useful outputs.
Bittensor mixes blockchain technology with a reward system that promotes the creation of specialized AI models. Instead of centralized training done by a single company, independent developers contribute AI models to the network. Models compete to provide the most useful outputs and are rewarded in TAO. The continuous competition improves quality and expands the network.
In December 2025, the network underwent its first halving, reducing block rewards by 50% to tighten TAO’s supply, mirroring Bitcoin’s scarcity model.
