A Claude-powered trading bot has managed to turn $1 into $3.3 million on the crypto-based prediction market Polymarket since August 2025.

Used by an account named sovereign2013, the bot relied on a strategy that revolved around arbitrage sports bets at a rapid pace.

Its biggest bet by amount won was on a college basketball game, Utah State Aggies vs. Arizona Wildcats, which resulted in a win of over $1.73 million ($179,100 in pure profit).

Percentage-wise, some notable bets include a college football one on Florida International vs. Western Kentucky, which generated nearly 400% in profit, and an NBA one on Denver Nuggets vs. Portland Trail Blazers, which led to returns of more than 200%.

The trading bot’s overview

Currently, the profile has approximately $130,400 in position value, and it continues to place bets multiple times every minute, most of them still on sports events.

As of press time, the prediction with the biggest returns at stake is an ATP bet on today’s Valentin Royer vs. Alex Martinez match.

Over the past day, it has made $144,237, while over the past week, its winnings have amounted to around $416,165. As for its monthly gains, they sit at nearly $1.54 million. At this rate, the yearly gains could come in at approximately $18.5 million, assuming the current monthly pace is sustained.

In total, the account has made 37,247 predictions since it was opened in July 2025. With its success being nothing short of staggering, the bot also highlights the growing role of AI-driven strategies in decentralized prediction markets. Naturally, the numbers also raise questions about the legality and fairness of such an approach, as no human trader could ever match the speed.
