According to CoinWorld, the UK's Reform Party received $9.4 million in donations in the first quarter of 2026 from two crypto billionaires, including $4 million from Christopher Harborne, a shareholder of stablecoin issuer Tether, and $5.4 million from Ben Delo, co-founder of BitMEX. This funding puts the Reform Party ahead of all other political parties in fundraising. The Reform Party, which describes itself as a pro-crypto party, is the first British political party to accept Bitcoin donations, and its leader, Nigel Farage, has proposed reducing the capital gains tax on cryptocurrencies from 24% to 10%.
